         Congratulations on your forthcoming marriage!

The advent of digital photography has led to many exciting changes and has stimulated the need to continue to provide creative wedding photography, but now more informal and casual as well as the traditional and classical. Although these days ceremonies may be religious, civil, partnership or humanist, there is still a need for professional photographs. Contemporary photography obviously reflects Society's changing trends and  to some extent this explains the resurgence in the popularity of black and white and sepia prints coupled with the "shoot on the move " reportage style of photography.

However, I have to admit I regard families as important and the wedding day is and always has been, an ideal opportunity for the photographer to record members of the family and friends. This does not mean 'stand up straight line' groups-which are to be avoided whenever possible. I think that a combination of informal and traditional photography is the ideal for most couples - a mixture of both-capturing the fun, the unexpected, and the romance as well as the family - in fact, all part of my normal service aiming to provide you with a selection for your final choice.

Couples may be offered a free pre-wedding sitting as it can be particularly helpful for partners who feel awkward or self-conscious in front of the camera, and also provides the opportunity to meet again and see me at work.

I am based in Eastleigh which is located between Winchester and Southampton, but covering the Romsey, Portsmouth, New Forest and Salisbury areas. In general I serve Hampshire and the surrounding borders of Dorset, Wiltshire and West Sussex but not exclusively, depending on individual circumstances.

So, I hope you will let me tell the story of your special day. Usually starting at the Bride's home, continuing with the arrivals at the ceremony, I then take the main pictures for you and your guests at your preferred location as arranged, and conclude at the Reception. I wish to provide a very personal service and so I will generally meet you at your venues beforehand to discuss your requirements, locations and the timings for the day.

I still enjoy weddings because each one is different and meeting new people in new situations is always interesting. I hope I'll be meeting you.
